Release of 2009-10 mining industry data
- Australian Industry, 2009-10 (cat. no. 8155.0) was released on 27 May 2011. This publication contains the results of the 2009-10 Economic Activity Survey (EAS) which is one of the main sources of Australian mining industry statistics. It presents information about the operation and financial performance of mining and other industries in the public trading and private sectors. Included are estimates for employment; income; expenses; industry value added; operating profit before tax; capital expenditure; and selected components of these aggregates and derivations.
- Note: In addition to Australian Industry, a supplementary data cube, Mining Commodities 2001-02 to 2009-10 was later attached on 14 December 2011. This data cube provides state/territory information on mineral commodity production and the value of that production, based on data provided by state and Northern Territory governments.
