Disability, Ageing and Carers, Australia: Summary of Findings, 2009 (cat. no. 4430.0)
The Disability, Ageing and Carers publication contains summary statistics for people with a disability, older people (aged 60 years and over) and people who provide assistance to older people and people with disabilities. The December issue of Australian Social Trends contains an article on housing mobility. The longer people live in the one location the greater opportunities they have for developing social networks. This publication presents a statistical overview of culture and the arts in Australia. The information is drawn from a variety of data sources, including Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) data and non-ABS data, to provide a more complete picture of cultural industries. It contains a feature article on children's participation in dancing, music and singing. It also contains a chapter on participation and attendance at cultural activities, venues and events. Participation in social activities is considered one of the elements of social inclusion.

Age Matters, December 2010 (cat. no. 4914.0.55.001)
