Frequently Asked Questions - Who can access CURFs? - Can an individual apply for an ABS CURF?
Yes. An individual who is not associated with an organisation can apply for access to an ABS CURF.
ABS grants access to CURFs in accordance with requirements of Clause 7 of the Statistics Determination 1983 under the Census and Statistics Act 1905. This does not require that a person be associated with an organisation, though in practice nearly all CURF users are members of an organisation.
To apply for access to ABS CURFs please visit the How to Apply for Microdata page.
