This page provides information on the services primarily provided by the ABS to New South Wales Government and, in some cases, to other NSW - based organisations. There is an ABS office in every capital city with a legislated function to service government and the community. These services include the following:

Advisory Groups

Forums for New South Wales Government agencies and the ABS to liaise on strategic statistical issues.

National Statistical Service (NSS) in New South Wales

Enables your agency to increase the range of quality statistical information available for decision making and to forge statistical partnerships to share knowledge and expertise.

Outposted ABS Officers

Available to assist New South Wales Government agencies with statistical projects.

State Supplementary Surveys

Collects detailed information on specific aspects of New South Wales economic or social life which can assist in the formulation of policy strategies.

Community of Statisticians

Community of Statisticians (CoS) is a collaboration of NSW government agencies advocating the development of a community of interest in statistics.
