Frequently Asked Questions - Applying for CURFs - Do I need to apply to access a CURF that my organisation already has?
 

Yes. Each person who wishes to use a CURF must be individually approved by ABS to use it - even if the organisation already holds the CURF. To apply for access, see How to apply for Microdata.

Provision of CURFs to those not personally approved by ABS is a breach of the legal Undertaking signed by your organisation's Responsible Officer. Where such breaches have occurred, the ABS applies any of a range of Penalties for breaching the CURF Undertaking.
