3. Compare your answers with at least 2 other people in the class. How were they similar and how were they different to yours?
4. Select information from the table provided and create 2 graphs to show:
- Diversity in the Australian population
- How one of the characteristics has changed between 2001 and 2006.
5. Study the changes between 2001 and 2006 for the data provided and make your own prediction of what the values will be in 2011. If the 2011 Census data has been released (July 2012), check to see how accurate your predictions have been by going to the Census webpage.
6. Complete a survey of your class for one of the following:
- Country of birth
- Language spoken at home
7. Convert the results of the survey into percentages. Create 2 graphs to show how the results of your survey compare to the data provided for Australia.
8. Using the statistics provided, write a paragraph to show the diversity of the Australian population.

Extension:
