DESCRIPTION

The publication Measures of Australia's Progress (ABS cat. no. 1370.0) (MAP) provides a set of summary overview indicators of Australia's situation, under four major dimensions: Individuals; the Economy and economic resources; the Environment; and Living together. There are three 'headline dimensions' for individuals: health; education and training; and work.

Scope

The education indicators in MAP cover the lifespan from early adolescence to age 64.

Reference Period

MAP mainly publishes annual cross-sectional data from ABS population surveys.

Release Schedule

MAP is a triennial publication. The next issue is the 2009 release. The At A Glance and the Summary Indicators publications are annual.

  • Proportion of persons aged 25–64 years with a vocational or higher education qualification, ten-year time series.
