TREND ESTIMATES
  • In the December quarter 2008, the trend estimate for the number of lambs slaughtered increased by 3% to 5.2 million.
  • In the December quarter 2008, the trend estimate for the number of pigs slaughtered fell by 3% to 1.1 million.
  • In the December quarter 2008, the trend estimate for the number of sheep slaughtered fell by 3% to 2.9 million.
