Main Features Dwelling Units Approved Dwelling Units Approved, States and Territories Dwelling Units Approved, State Trends Value of Building Approved Data Cubes About this Release Dwelling approvals continue to fall in September 2010 (Media Release)	DWELLING UNITS APPROVED TOTAL DWELLING UNITS The trend estimate for total dwellings approved fell 3.7% in September 2010 and has fallen for seven months. In seasonally adjusted terms the estimate fell 6.6% to 12,143 dwellings. PRIVATE SECTOR HOUSES The trend estimate for private sector houses approved fell 1.8% in September and has fallen for nine months. In seasonally adjusted terms the estimate fell 2.2% to 7,984 houses. PRIVATE SECTOR OTHER DWELLINGS The trend estimate for private sector other dwellings approved fell 3.5% in September and is now showing falls for four months.
