TIME SERIES GENERAL GOVERNMENT
GFS revenue for the general government sector across all levels of government increased by $1,066 million (0.3%) from $419,082 million in 2007-08 to $420,148 million in 2008-09. Over the same period GFS expenses have increased by $55,042 million (14.3%) from $386,092 million to $441,134 million. This resulted in a decrease of $53,977 million in the GFS net operating balance from $32,990 million to -$20,987 million.
Between 30 June 2008 and 30 June 2009 GFS net worth for all levels of government increased by $39,515 million from $899,130 million to $938,645 million.
