CASH OPERATING RESULTS
 
 
In 2008-09 the general government sector and total public sector, for all levels of government, recorded cash operating deficits of $32,490 million and $50,958 million respectively.
 
The following table presents the 2008-09 cash operating surplus/deficit results by sector for each jurisdiction.
