ABOUT THIS ISSUE
This is the second and final release of the 2007–08 Input–Output tables. The tables include input by industry and output by product group; use of domestic production and imports by industry and final demand categories, taxes and margins on supply by product, and industry and product concordances (Tables 1–10, 17, 19–21, 23–40).
These tables have been revised from the preliminary release following further compilation of the data. This has resulted in an improved allocation of Retail margins, products for Rail and Air and space transport have been rebalanced, and in Table 8 the allocation of row coefficients is now based on total supply, not Australian production. There has also been wide-spread minor changes to Intermediate and Final use of products.
Also included in this release are the coefficients, industry flow, and margins tables (5–10, 17, and 19–21) that were not released in the preliminary release.
