SUMMARY OF RECENT ABS RELEASES Household and Family Projections, Australia, 2006 to 2031 (cat. no. 3236.0) Released 8 June 2010 This publication contains projections of the number of households, families and their living arrangements for Australia, the states, territories, capital cities, and balance of states for the period 30 June 2007 to 2031. Three main series of projections are presented based on various assumptions about the changing living arrangements of Australia's population. Health Services: Patient Experiences in Australia, 2009 (cat. no. 4839.0.55.001) Released 30 July 2010 This publication provides national data on access and barriers to a range of health care services including general practitioners, medical specialists and other health professionals. It also includes data on patient experiences of care and information provision from both those that did not access health services and those that did, enabling analysis of health service information in relation to particular population groups. Mental Health of Young People, 2007 (cat. no. 4840.0.55.001) Released 19 July 2010 Provides a brief overview of the mental health of young people aged 16-24 years, primarily using data from the 2007 ABS National Survey of Mental Health and Wellbeing. The publication includes information about young people who had a mental disorder in the 12 months prior to interview, including the types of mental disorder, the severity of the disorder, the demographic characteristics of young people with a mental disorder and their use of mental health services. Community Services, 2008-09 (cat. no. 8696.0) Released 24 June 2010 This publication contains summary data on expenditure on community service activity by government and private sector organisations during the 2008-09 financial year. Data are presented by type of community service activity, state and territory, and profit status. The publication also contains data on income, expenditure, employment and volunteers in a number of community service sectors such as aged care residential services and child care services.
