EQUIVALISED WEEKLY HOUSEHOLD INCOME

People in the lowest equivalised weekly household income quintile were the least likely to experience credit card fraud (1.8%), whilst people in the highest quintile were most likely to be victims (6.1%).

Victims of credit card fraud with an equivalised weekly household income in the second lowest quintile were less likely to be informed of card misuse by an authority (38.6%) compared to victims in all of the other equivalised weekly household income categories, which ranged from 55.1% for the lowest quintile to 62.8% for the highest quintile.
