Drawing together data from a variety of ABS sources, Arts and Culture: State and Territory Profiles is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of arts and culture in each of the state and territory jurisdictions.
This profile of Western Australia will contain information on a range of topics including participation in cultural activities, cultural funding by government, employment in culture, and attendances at cultural venues and events.
Presented as a series of stand alone reports, the Western Australian profile will be updated on an ongoing basis as and when data from key ABS surveys becomes available.
Information is classified as being 'cultural' according to the Australian Culture and Leisure Industry Classification.
Unless otherwise noted, specific differences in rates of participation and attendance discussed in the reports are considered statistically significant.
The reports available for Western Australia are:
Children's Participation in Cultural and Leisure Activities
Cultural Funding by Government
Employment in Culture
These documents will be presented in a new window.
