Australian National Infant Feeding Survey


OVERVIEW

The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare conducted a Survey of National Infant Feeding in October 2010 to provide baseline data on the breast feeding rate.


SCOPE

The sample survey was administered by mail questionnaire and questionnaire on the internet, with a sample size of 50,000 infants and children aged up to two years.

    • Birthplace of mother/carer

A summary report is planned for release in late 2011.
