Australian Citizenship (CITP) This variable records people who state they have Australian citizenship. Citizenship data are used to obtain information on the tendency of different migrant groups to take out citizenship and to measure the size of groups eligible to vote. The data are useful cross-classified with country of birth, year of arrival in Australia and age data.
