The estimate of capital expenditure in 2010-11 funded by the Australian Government accounted for 8% of all cultural expenditure, a fall from 10% in 2009-10. The majority (52%) of Australian Government funded capital expenditure was for Arts activities in 2010-11. This was an increase from 2009-10 where 46% of capital expenditure was for Arts. (Table 2)

The category with the highest capital expenditure in 2010-11 was Radio and television services ($87.8m).
