This group covers R&D directed towards farming or breeding livestock. It includes beekeeping and pet breeding.
This group has twelve objectives:

830302 Dairy Cattle

830305 Game Livestock (e.g. Kangaroos, Wallabies, Camels, Buffaloes, Possums)
830306 Horses
830307 Minor Livestock (e.g. Alpacas, Ostriches, Crocodiles, Farmed Rabbits)
830308 Pigs
830309 Poultry
830310 Sheep - Meat
830311 Sheep - Wool
830399 Livestock Raising not elsewhere classified

Exclusions:
a) Preparation, handling, and storage of primary livestock products, e.g. unprocessed milk, raw wool, raw hides and skins, is included in Group 8305 Primary Animal Products.
b) Animal welfare and livestock product traceability and quality assurance are included in Group 8399 Other Animal Production and Animal Primary Products.
c) Manufacture of processed livestock products, e.g. processed milk and processed skins, is included in Division 86 Manufacturing.
