As this publication went to print, a small number of errors were discovered in March Quarter 2008. These errors have no impact on growth rates for any other quarter. The errors are in the Chain Volume Measures for the components of Government Final Consumption Expenditure. The annual re-referencing and re-benchmarking process has led to National-defence, National-non-defence, Total national, State and Local government consumption expenditure showing incorrect growth rates for the March 2008 Quarter. There is no effect on the growth rates for Total Government Final Consumption Expenditure or any other series.
