Previously known as, 'Mental Health and Wellbeing: Profile of Adults, Australia'.

Presents an overview of the main topics covered in the National Survey of Mental Health and Wellbeing conducted in 2007. It contains comprehensive Australian data on key mental health issues including the prevalence of mental disorders, the associated disability, and the use of services. The focus is on anxiety, affective and substance use disorders.

A Users' Guide (4327.0), which provides information about the concepts and methods used, will be released in early 2009 along with an Expanded and a Basic Confidentialised Unit Record File (4329.0.30.001) (CURF) and a Technical Manual (4329.0) which provides details about the CURFs.w
