      Description
        Provides information about selected financial assets and liabilities of the Australian non-financial public sector. The information is used by government economic policy departments, financial analysts and credit rating agencies to monitor the level and growth of Australia's public sector debt. It is also used for predicting debt servicing costs, to analyse the distribution of debt across governments and public sectors, and to assist in determining the credit worthiness of governments in Australia.
