SECTOR OF MAIN JOB This data item describes whether someone works in the public or private sectors. This item is not collected in the monthly Labour Force Survey (LFS) and is derived from the supplementary survey Employee Earnings, Benefits and Trade Union Membership, Australia (EEBTUM, cat. no. 6310.0), which is collected every August from the employees in seven-eighths of the LFS sample
