15 September 2009 - Additional material Information in this data cube supplements that released in Experimental Estimates of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians, Jun 2006 (cat. no. 3238.0.55.001) on 19 August 2008. This additional data cube presents final experimental estimates of the Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, total Indigenous, non-Indigenous and total populations of Australia as at 30 June 2006, based on the 2006 Census of Population and Housing. Estimates are disaggregated by age (5-year groups) and sex for Torres Strait Indigenous Region, Balance of Queensland, Queensland, Rest of Australia, and Australia. State and territory totals are available by sex.
