NSW STATE PLAN
The NSW State Plan was launched by the Premier, Morris Iemma, on 14 November 2006.
Led by the NSW Premier's Department, the Plan was produced through a process of consultation with the whole of Government, community, Local Government, industry and stakeholder groups.
The 10 year Plan identifies 34 measurable priorities for Government action in the areas of:
- Rights, Respect and Responsibility
- Delivering Better Services
- Fairness and Opportunity
- Growing Prosperity Across NSW
- Environment for Living
Targets have been set for each of the priorities where possible, and are measured using data from a range of sources including the NSW and Australian Governments, and the ABS.
