ABOUT THIS RELEASE

Provides details of the impact on the quarterly financial accounts 5232.0 of the implementation of revised international standards contained in the System of National Accounts 1993 (SNA93). Details of these changes were announced in Information Paper: Implementation of Revised International Standards in the Australian National Accounts (5251.0) which was released on 30 September 1997. The publication will include a re-issue of the June quarter 1998 financial accounts estimates adjusted for the SNA93 changes and shows the new table formats which were adopted from the September quarter 1998 issue of 5232.0.
