Microdata: National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Survey, 2014–15
The following microdata products will be available:

From the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Survey, 2014–15 – TableBuilder – An expanded CURF (to be released July 2016)

From the General Social Survey, Australia, 2014: A non–IndigenousTableBuilder

These products bring together a wide range of information to enable it to be linked across areas of social concern. The focus is on the relationships between characteristics from different areas, rather than in depth information about a particular field. Topics include health, housing, culture, education, work, income, financial stress, transport, social capital, family and community, and crime.

A detailed list of data items available can be accessed on the Downloads page.

The microdata enables users to tabulate, manipulate and analyse data. Steps to confidentialise the dataset have been applied to ensure the integrity of data and maintain confidentiality of respondents. This includes removing any information that might uniquely identify an individual or household, reducing the level of detail for some items and collapsing some categories.

Approved users can combine information about persons and households to enable in-depth studies of social issues.
