The Standard Australian Classification of Countries was developed by the ABS for use in the collection, storage and dissemination of all Australian statistical data classified by country.
4235.0.55.001Microdata: Qualifications and Work, 2015
The following microdata products are available from the Qualification and Work, 2015 - TableBuilder

To apply for access to TableBuilder, register and apply in the Registration Centre.

This product provides data on the educational history of people and the relevance of each non-school qualification to their working lives. Data includes the level and field of each qualification, year of completion and whether the qualification was attained in Australia. Further information was collected on incomplete qualifications, cultural background and citizenship status. A detailed list of data items is available on the Downloads tab.

The microdata enables users to tabulate, manipulate and analyse data. Steps to confidentialise the dataset are taken to ensure the integrity of data and maintain confidentiality of respondents. This includes removing any information that might uniquely identify an individual, reducing the level of detail for some items and collapsing some categories.

3415.0Migrant Data Matrices, 2016
This release provides users with links to summary data on migrants from a wide range of ABS outputs, presented in a series of matrices.

Where available, this will include a broad selection of demographic, geographic, socio-economic and collection specific data items of interest. The statistical coverage includes topics such as Population Characteristics, Labour (Employment), Family and Community, Health, Education and Training, Housing, Personal and Household Finances, Culture and Leisure and Crime and Justice.

The Migrant Data Matrices data cube shows which migrant related data items are available for each selected ABS product, and links to their Main Features and to detailed information on the source collection. A Glossary of migrant related terms is also included for reference.
5368.0.55.006Characteristics of Australian Exporters, 2014-15
This publication provides an analysis of the number and characteristics of Australia's exporters. Estimates on exporters of merchandise trade are compiled from data sourced from the Australian Customs Service (Customs) and from the Australian Taxation Office's (ATO) Australian Business Register. Estimates on exporters of services are compiled largely from the ABS Survey of International Trade in Services (SITS).

This publication presents statistics about the operation of private acute and psychiatric hospitals, and free-standing day hospital facilities in Australia. Information is included about facilities (beds available, special units), activities (patient throughput, days of hospitalisation provided, bed occupancy rates), patients (types of admitted patients, outpatients and operations performed), staffing and finances.

Contains value of engineering construction work done, commenced and yet to be done, classified by state or territory, commodity (roads, bridges, pipelines etc), sector (public/private) undertaking the work, and sector for whom the work is being done. Includes seasonally adjusted estimates of the value of work done by sector in both current prices and in chain volume measure terms. It includes more comprehensive and updated information to that contained in Cat. No. 8755.0.

1379.0.55.001National Regional Profile, 2010-14
The National Regional Profile (NRP) presents data for 2010-14 for Local Government Areas, Australian Statistical Geography Standard regions (Statistical Areas 2, 3 and 4, and Greater Capital City Statistical Areas), States/Territories and Australia.

The NRP is designed for users interested in the socio-economic and environmental characteristics of regions - and in comparisons with similar geographies across Australia. Data are arranged under the broad themes/topics of Economy, Industry, People, and Energy and Environment.

This release provides Explanatory Notes, a Glossary, Abbreviations, other metadata and zipped csv files (data cubes) - to assist data use and interpretation. The NRP is also linked to the "Data by Region" map interface product to provide a more immediate data discovery experience for both casual and regular users.

First Issue
Supplementary Disability Survey, 2016
Contains results from the 2016 Supplementary Disability Survey (SDS). The SDS was conducted for the first time as a follow up to the 2015 Survey of Disability, Ageing and Carers.

This release provides an internationally comparable disability prevalence rate and contains a publication and data cubes.
5232.0Australian National Accounts: Finance and Wealth, March 2016
Contains quarterly data for: national, sectoral and subsectoral financial accounts (flows) and balance sheets by financial instruments and counterparties; national, sectoral and subsectoral capital accounts; financial instrument market tables by sectors and subsectors issuing/accepting/borrowing by counterparties; demand for credit and credit outstanding by non-financial domestic sectors and subsectors; household balance sheet and associated analytical measures of income, consumption, saving and wealth; and household housing loans outstanding by lending institution. All estimates are in current prices, and the capital accounts are presented in original, seasonal adjusted and trend terms.

Responsible Use of ABS Microdata, User Guide
This user guide describes the types of microdata and the limitations for its use. It explains the responsibilities of microdata users, Responsible Officers and Contact Officers. It also includes information on the secure management of microdata and the consequences for individuals and organisations who fail to meet their responsibilities. This user guide will assist registered users with their compliance with the ABS Terms and Conditions of microdata access.

Explains the methodology to be used in conducting the 2016 Census Post Enumeration Survey, including changes since the 2011 survey.

8731.0Building Approvals, Australia, May 2016
Provides the number and value of dwelling units approved by sector (public/private) and by state, number and value of new houses, new other residential dwelling units approved by type of building, and the number and value of non-residential building jobs approved by type of building (i.e. by function such as 'retail and wholesale trade', 'offices') and value ranges. State data includes the number of private sector houses approved; number and value of new other residential dwellings by type of building such as flats, units or apartments in a building of one or two storeys; number and value of non-residential building jobs by type of building and sector; and for Greater Capital City Statistical Areas, the total number of dwelling units approved broken down by Houses, Dwellings Excluding Houses and Total Dwelling Units. Seasonally adjusted and trend estimates by state are included for the number of dwelling units and value of building approved. The quarterly value of building approved is shown in chain volume measure terms. Small geographic area data cubes are presented for Statistical Areas Level 2 and Local Government Areas. Small area data cubes will be released in an "Additional information" release five business days after the main publication.
