      Description
        Provides information on the number of job vacancies and overtime worked. The JVO series is a major economic indicator and is used by Commonwealth and State government departments, employer associations, and trade unions.

      • average hours of overtime worked
      • percentage of employees working overtime

        Quarterly
      Historical data
        From 1983.
        Note: Prior to 1983, information was calculated using the payroll tax system.
