JUNE KEY POINTS


TOTAL HOURLY RATES OF PAY EXCLUDING BONUSES

QUARTERLY CHANGE (MAR QTR 2015 TO JUN QTR 2015)
  • The trend index and the seasonally adjusted index for Australia rose 0.6% in the June quarter 2015.
  • The Private sector rose 0.5% seasonally adjusted, and the Public sector rose 0.7%.
  • The rises in industry indexes (in original terms) ranged from 0.1% for Rental, hiring and real estate services to 0.8% for Financial and insurance services.


ANNUAL CHANGE (JUN QTR 2014 TO JUN QTR 2015)
  • The trend and seasonally adjusted indexes for Australia both rose 2.3% through the year to the June quarter 2015.
  • Rises in industry indexes (in original terms) through the year to the June quarter 2015 ranged from 1.7% for Construction and Professional, scientific and technical services to 2.8% for Financial and insurance services.
