This publication contains estimates of the quantity of grain held in grain storage facilities operated by the major bulk grain handling companies and grain traders in Australia as at 30 September 2007.


KEY POINTS


The total quantity of grain held in storage facilities operated by the major grain handling companies at 30 September 2007 was 2.8 million tonnes reflecting a decrease in grain stocks of 1.5 million tonne from 31 August 2007. This is on a par with this year's average monthly usage.
