  • About this Release

The Basic Community Profile (BCP) DataPack consists of 46 tables and is the primary profile containing key Census characteristics on persons, families and dwellings. This third release includes the additional geography of Remoteness Area. There are no additional tables. The data are based on place of usual residence.

This BCP DataPack contains 2011 Census data for numerous areas within the one package. The data are in CSV format. The DataPack also includes digital boundary map files and metadata/referencing information.

DataPacks do not include software.

DataPacks are designed:
- for people to use with database or analysis systems (e.g. SQL, GIS and other mapping or tabulation software)
- for people who want Community Profile data for numerous geographies.

The BCP DataPack files can be downloaded from our website for free.
