6540.0 - Microdata: Household Expenditure Survey and Survey of Income and Housing, Australia, 2009-10 (Second edition

A file containing unit record data from the Household Expenditure Survey (HES) and the Survey of Income and Housing (SIH). It is confidentialised and as such contains no names and addresses and the detail for some items of data has been reduced. Four individual microdata files are available: the basic files for HES and SIH are distributed on CD-ROM or can be accessed via the Remote Access Data Laboratory; the expanded files for HES and SIH are only able to be accessed via the Remote Access Data Laboratory. Subject to the limitation of sample size and the data classifications used, it is possible to manipulate the data, produce tabulations and undertake statistical analyses to individual specifications.

This is a second edition release of the HES Basic and Expanded CURF which includes new variables relating to the 2009-10 Fiscal Incidence Study. The SIH Basic and Expanded CURFs have not been impacted by these changes.
