Wheat grain stored, Australia
  • Australia's bulk storage of wheat grain in June 2012 decreased by 2.3 million tonnes (14%) to 14.1 million tonnes since May 2012 (revised). This was 692 thousand tonnes (or 5%) higher than in June 2011.
  • The continuous decrease of Australia's bulk storage of wheat grain closely follows the expected pattern of decline post-harvest in combination with increasing wheat grain exports over the last few months (see Wheat Stocks and Exports, Australia, cat. no. 7307.0).
