CHANGES IN THIS ISSUE

After the 2012 June release, scheduled for 27 July 2012, the ABS will cease production of the Production of Plasterboard series presented in this publication. For queries regarding the cessation of this series please contact the Manufacturing Commodity Section on 1800 809 168.

DATA NOTES

This publication presents estimates at the national and state level. More detailed breakdowns collected by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) may be available on request for a charge. Items for which additional production data are available are listed in paragraphs 8 and 9 of the Explanatory Notes.

Compared with estimates in previous issues, there have been significant revisions to data dating from July 2006 to April 2012 in Victoria resulting in a 3-6% increase in the estimate of concrete production per month in Victoria across this period. There have also been revisions to Queensland between December 2011 and March 2012.

Where figures have been rounded, discrepancies may occur between sums of the component items and totals.
