ABOUT THIS PUBLICATION

KEY POINTS

The total quantity of grain held in storage facilities operated by the major grain handling companies at 30 June 2007 was 7.2 million tonnes. The continued decline of stocks is largely attributable to a decrease in stocks of wheat from 5.9 million tonnes to 5 million tonnes. All other grain types also decreased.
