  • The following tables have been revised - All Levels of Government, Operating Statement 2014–15, All Levels of Government, Cash Flow Statement 2014–15, State Governments, Key Analytical Balances 2014–15.
  • The spreadsheets (datacube) providing more detailed data for the All levels of Government Operating and Cash Flow Statements, and State Government Operating and Cash Flow Statements have now been included.
  • The ABS has reviewed the Government Financial Estimates (GFE) publication in consultation with data users. GFE will cease to be published, this 2014–15 issue is the final issue.

Government Financial Estimates (GFE) for the commonwealth and state governments are compiled from initial budget forecasts. This release presents consolidated 2014–15 budget forecasts for the general government sector for Commonwealth, Multi-jurisdictional, State, Local and All levels of Government. Two main statements are presented; the Operating Statement and the Cash Flow Statement.

Data for this release are sourced from the commonwealth and state government budget forecasts.
