At 30 June 2004, the Victorian meat cattle herd stood at 2.4 million, with the highest numbers in the Western District and Goulburn Statistical Divisions. MEAT CATTLE, Victoria, at 30 June

At 30 June 2004, most meat cattle in Victoria were found in the Western District Statistical Division (638,700).
