At 30 June 2005, industry value added per person employed in the Manufacturing industry was $104,700, an increase of $2,100 (2.0%) on the 30 June 2004 figure of $102,600. Over the same period, the largest increase in percentage terms in industry value added per person employed was in the Metal product manufacturing subdivision which increased by $48,800 (42.4%) from $115,000 to $163,800.
