BUILDING ACTIVITY, AUSTRALIA, December QTR 2012 (cat. no. 8752.0)

DATA NOTE

Several time series spreadsheets contain 'np' (not available for publication) annotations for the September quarter 2012 and December quarter 2012. This is due to confidential data being contained in these series.

The seasonally adjusted and trend values of Residential Building Work Commenced for the March, June and September 2012 quarters should be interpreted with caution and will be reanalysed for future publications. For more information about seasonal adjustment and trend estimates please refer to paragraphs 22 and 28 of the Explanatory Notes respectively.

The trend estimates should be interpreted with caution as the underlying behaviour of building activity may be affected by Government stimulus packages as well as other developments associated with global economic conditions. For more details on trend estimates, please see paragraphs 28 to 30 of the explanatory notes.

ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY, AUSTRALIA, December QTR 2012 (cat. no. 8762.0)
