DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales fell 0.2% in February after rising for 24 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 1.7% in February and has risen for 23 months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria rose 2.2% in February and has risen for nine months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 2.1% in February and has risen for seven months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland fell 1.2% in February after rising for 16 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 1.0% in February and has risen for 13 months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia rose 0.4% in February and has risen for 20 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 3.0% in February and has risen for 13 months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia rose 2.1% in February and has risen for 25 months.
