The trend estimate for total dwelling units approved rose 2.7% in November 2009 and has risen for ten months.

The seasonally adjusted estimate for total dwelling units approved rose 5.9%, to 13,724, following a fall in the previous month.

PRIVATE SECTOR HOUSES

The trend estimate for private sector houses approved rose 1.5% in November and has risen for 11 months.

The seasonally adjusted estimate for private sector houses approved fell 1.9%, to 9,386 houses following rises in the previous ten months.

PRIVATE SECTOR OTHER DWELLINGS

The trend estimate for private sector other dwellings approved rose 5.3% in November and has risen for five months.

The seasonally adjusted estimate for private sector other dwellings approved rose 27.5%, to 3,404 dwellings, following a fall last month.
