NUMBER OF LIVESTOCK EXPORTED

Live exports quarterly original movements for December 2014:

Exports of live cattle
Live cattle exports fell by 3%, to 304,000 head. Of the total cattle exported, 65% or 198,000 were exported to Indonesia and 15% or 46,500 to Viet Nam.

Exports of live sheep
Live sheep exports rose by 1%, to 606,000 head. Of the total sheep exported, 38% or 230,000 were exported to Kuwait and 24% or 145,000 to Qatar.
