EMPLOYED PERSONS TREND ESTIMATES


MALES

The trend estimate of employed males generally rose from 5,218,400 in February 2003 to 5,985,400 in September 2008. The trend then fell to 5,935,100 in April 2009, before rising to 6,207,600 in February 2011. The trend then fell to 6,197,400 in July 2011 before generally rising to 6,290,900 in February 2013.

FEMALES

The trend estimate of employed females generally rose from 4,240,700 in February 2003 to 5,297,800 in February 2013.

PERSONS

The trend estimate of employed persons rose from 9,459,200 in February 2003 to 10,931,100 in November 2008. The trend then fell to 10,928,200 in March 2009 before generally rising to 11,588,700 in February 2013.
