EMPLOYED PERSONS TREND ESTIMATES


MALES

The trend estimates of employed males rose from 5,035,800 in June 2000 to 5,915,900 in September 2008. The trend then fell to 5,847,800 in May 2009 and has risen to 6,052,400 in June 2010.

FEMALES

The trend estimates of employed females generally rose from 3,973,900 in June 2000 to 4,246,200 in April 2003, before falling to 4,240,700 in November 2003. The trend then rose to 4,926,300 in April 2009 before falling to 4,919,900 in July 2009. The trend has since risen to 5,025,300 in June 2010.

PERSONS

The trend estimates of employed persons rose from 9,009,600 in June 2000 to 10,810,500 in October 2008. The Trend then fell to 10,771,400 in June 2009 before rising to 11,077,600 in June 2010.
