CHANGES IN THIS ISSUE

From the July 2009 reference month, there will be a change to the presentation of the Confidential Commodities List to incorporate the presentation of statistics on an Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification, 2006 (ANZSIC 2006) basis.

For details about the introduction of ANZSIC 2006 and the impact on related classifications, refer to the Information paper: Changes to International Trade in Goods Industry Statistics, July 2009 (cat. no. 5368.0.55.011).

Data is now available on an ANZSIC 1993 and ANZSIC 2006 basis from July 2005 onwards.

The presentation of the CCL datacube will be modified to include an additional column to accommodate ANZSIC 2006 correspondences. Within the CCL, Australian Harmonized Export Commodity Classification (AHECC) and Australian Customs Tariff (HTISC) codes ceasing prior to July 2005 will not have a correspondence to ANZSIC 2006 and codes opening after July 2008 will not have a correspondence to ANZSIC 1993.
