BEDD Number of Bedrooms in Private Dwelling - 1st Release

This variable is a count of the bedrooms in each occupied private dwelling. In standard census products, BEDD data are generally published in the categories shown below. However, 2001 Census data are also available for individual numbers of bedrooms from 0 to 99.

Applicable to:    Occupied private dwellings

0    None (includes bedsitters)
1    1 bedroom
2    2 bedrooms
3    3 bedrooms
4    4 bedrooms
5    5 or more bedrooms
&&    Not stated
@@    Not applicable

Total number of categories:    8

Not applicable (@@) category comprises:

Unoccupied private dwellings
Non-Private dwellings
Migratory and off-shore CDs
