ANZSOC CONFERENCE 2010

The Australian and New Zealand Society of Criminologists (ANZSOC) held their annual conference at Alice Springs in September 2010. Both Australian and International delegates attended the conference to share their latest research in diverse areas within the field of crime and justice. NCCJS, in collaboration with ABS colleagues from the South Australian office, presented a paper entitled Recent developments in Australian Bureau of Statistics Crime Surveys. The presentation highlighted key findings from the re-designed Crime Victimisation Survey and discussed some of the challenges involved in conducting crime victimisation surveys generally.

NCCJS will be presenting another paper at the 2011 ANZSOC conference to be held in Geelong in September: Out of Control or Misunderstood? A Statistical Snapshot on Juvenile Victimisation and Offending.
