1) Issues have been identified with the coding of the 2011-12 data for the conditions 'Back pain/problem, disc disorder', 'Diseases of the digestive system', 'Symptoms, signs and conditions not elsewhere classified', 'Rheumatism' and 'Other diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue'. Analysis indicates that at the national level:

• 'Back pain/problem, disc disorder' was under-reported by approximately 545,000 people
• 'Diseases of the digestive system' was over-reported by approximately 230,000 people
• 'Symptoms, signs and conditions not elsewhere classified' was over-reported by approximately 255,000 people
• 'Rheumatism' was over-reported as a 'Current and long term' condition by approximately 145,000 people
• 'Other diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue' was over-reported as a 'Current and long term' condition by approximately 275,000 people.

Therefore, 2011-12 data for these conditions are not comparable with other years. However, 2014-15 data have been correctly coded.

2) The classification for 'Type of dietary supplement taken in last 2 weeks' does not align exactly with the equivalent classification used for Microdata: Australian Health Survey, Nutrition and Physical Activity, 2011-12 (cat. no. 4324.0.55.002). The category "Multivitamin and/or multimineral containing caffeine" does not exist for the National Health Survey data, and hence there is a misalignment of the codes used for the categories 'Calcium supplements' to 'Other single vitamin supplements'.

11/05/2017 - Information on the release of the Basic CURF has been added to existing pages and an additional page Using the Basic CURF has been published. The Basic CURF data item list has been added to the Downloads tab.

Additionally, an incorrect measure label assigned to the 'Age exclusively breastfed' item on the TableBuilder has been corrected. Means and medians created from this item are now correctly displayed in 'Years', not 'Months'. Custom ranges created from this item are unaffected.

13/11/2014 - The Using the TableBuilder page has been updated with additional information to coincide with the re-release of the TableBuilder product. The re-release of the TableBuilder product was required to add the Biomedical data. A few other data item additions and data corrections were also made to the data product and minor wording changes made to other web pages.

05/11/2014 - Information on the release of the Expanded CURF has been added to existing pages and an additional page Using the Expanded CURF has been published. The Expanded CURF data item list has been added to the Downloads tab.

10/04/2014 - The Using the TableBuilder page has been updated with more information regarding confidentiality features in TableBuilder. The data item list has also been updated to identify data items affected by Field Exclusion Rules.
