Wine
There was an increase in the quantity of pure alcohol available for consumption from wine between 2008–09 and 2009–10 of 4.3%, from 65.6 million litres to 68.5 million litres (Table 4).

The volume of wine available for consumption increased by 4.5%, from 515.8 million litres in 2008–09 to 539.0 million litres in 2008–09. White wine, which increased by 4.3% or 10.9 million litres, accounted for much of this increase. Red wine increased by 3.0%, while the volume of other wines increased by 8.7% (Table 5).
