An additional Supertable data cube containing estimated resident populations for Statistical Local Areas and Local Government Areas as at 30 June in 1996, 2001 and 2006 was added to this issue on 19 August 2008. This contained the final estimates for each year, based on the 2006 edition of the Australian Standard Geographical Classification (ASGC). More information about the differences between these estimates and the preliminary estimates contained in the earlier data cubes included with this issue is provided in the Explanatory Notes of Population by Age and Sex, Regions of Australia, 2007 (cat. no. 3235.0). |
